Zoë Clement is a teacher, farmer, speaker, author, mom and wife. The moment you meet her you are drawn to her warm, magnetic personality, and grounding energy. She has inspired other teachers with her lecture series “The Creative Classroom”, and published unique lesson plans and books.

Zoe has 8 successful years teaching in Schools, private and public, internationally and locally. Bringing together the knowledge of her experience teaching in schools all over the world, and extensive research in learning and education to create Zoma Creative! Previously Community Learning Centre).

Zoma Creative is a unique place for both homeschool and mainstream creative kids to experience inspiring, playful, joyful, and stress-free Project-Based Learning.

Zoë enjoys her 2 young children, spending time in the garden, teaching and spreading the love of creative learning!


Matteus Clement was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley. He is an active community builder and Farmer. Matteus attended Camosun College and Royal Roads University, studying media and communication.

As a hands-on learner, Matteus loves sharing his “give it a try” attitude with students at Zoma Creative, encouraging children of all ages to build, design and create anything their imagination can conceive.

Currently, Matteus is teaching Outdoor Science, Real World Math, Carpentry & Mechanics and Media Skills. Matteus is Zoma Creative’s resident video magician, turning the kid’s green screen magic into Oscar worthy movies!


Classes and camps are divided between Zoma Creative Farm location and the Valleyview Center.
